April 17–19, 2026 · Tallapoosa Paintball · Tallapoosa, GA
Just over one year ago, there was nothing here but a road and a whole bunch of trees.
What you walked onto this past weekend was built from the ground up by a team of people who believed in something long before there was anything to show for it. The first ever Hate City Open — a WCPL format, Ten-Man Mechanical Marker Woodsball tournament — took place April 17–19, 2026, right here at Tallapoosa Paintball. And it was everything we hoped it would be.
Twelve teams from across the country — and beyond — made their way to 830 Steadman Road. Bracket play ran across two full days on the DEFY Field and Planet Eclipse Field, with finals bringing the top competitors back for a thrilling conclusion on Sunday.
A huge thank you to Planet Eclipse and DEFY Paintball for their support as our field partners throughout the event.
A special thank you to the World Classic Paintball League for allowing Tallapoosa Paintball to host this event. We look forward to continuing this relationship for years to come.
Whether you played, spectated, volunteered, reffed, or shared a post from home — thank you. Whether you were right down the road or crossed international borders to be here — we truly cannot thank you enough.
This is only the beginning.
